I recorded this audio tape, by recalling so many 'unique learning moments', as a freelance housepainter and rehabber in the Western suburbs of Chicago. Places like Elmwood Park, River Forest, Oak Park and Lincoln Park. Working side by side with legendary oldtimers....Mostly longtime veteran housepainters. Some painting as far back as the 1940's. The lessons I know, can really help to inform anyone under 35 about the folkways and, how good decent men use to work this trade. I am blessed to have become one of those oldtimers. All you need to do, is just listen to the tapes. I have guided and advised a generation of youngsters. $25.00 is a small price to pay, for this kind of information.
